Don’t be fooled by the outside, the restaurant is much bigger than it looks to be This is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Salinas. We have tried all the others and believe me, there are no runner ups to this restaurant. The food is very tasty and fresh. Great service and very fair prices.

Hard to find unless you live in the city. But the food is well worth it. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken. For once the chicken was not burnt and crunchy it was tender. the combo fried rice was delicious with chicken, beef and shrimp. the hot and sour soup was not spicy hot thank goodness. it was bearable and rather good tasting.

This is a quaint hole in the wall style restaurant. Not fancy, but nice enough inside. I normally get take out, but I have eaten in as well. I love this place for Chinese food. The crab angles are a favorite appetizer. My friend loves the Hong Kong Style Crispy Noodles (your choice on meat). I like the curry chicken and some fried rice with veggies and chicken.

The are willing to accommodate you by adding or subtracting ingredients from a dish if you want them to. We pretty much feel that everything on the menu is a safe bet as long as it's what you're in the mood for. Food is always great, super fast service, and not too expensive.

I got lunch to go -- chicken w/vegetables, egg roll and wonton soup. The food was pretty decent...tasty but not knock-your-socks-off delicious. Parking is a hassle, with the way the one-way streets run in downtown Salinas. I dunno, I might be back. I think I'll explore a bit more first, though.

Looking for a simple meal in Salinas. You'll find this place much better than chain fast food. The decor needs updating but I found the restroom very clean. The food is a standard, a little bit more authentic American style Chinese food mostly inspired by Cantonese dishes. We had two dishes, shrimp and sauteed vegetables. Both were executed well. They were not over sauced and over seasoned like much of the cheap Chinese restaurant cooking.

My fav location for tasty Chinese food. Don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. Definitely worth going back to. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.

So this is a great example of don't judge a book by its cover. Location is strange and looks like a little hole in the wall but the food is delicious. Extremely flavorful and satisfying. The staff is super friendly and I would stop here any time I am in the area. Truly blown away by the flavors.
